Kane says goodbye to Tottenham after spending his entire career with the Spurs!
Beloved Tottenham forward Harry Kane is leaving for greener pastures. It was reported on Friday that Kane agreed to leave Tottenham for Bayern Munich on a transfer. The Athletic's David Ornstein was the first to report the news of Kane leaving for the German club giant. It was reported that Bayern Munich agreed to a $ 110 million transfer fee to land the English Soccer star.
Kane`s amazing career with the Hotspurs!
Kane had to first agree on the transfer and Kane did that later last Friday. The 2018 FIFA Golden Boot winner played his entire football/soccer career with Tottenham. He is 30 years old and started playing for Tottenham back in 2004 with their youth club. The three time EPL Golden Boot winner began his career with Tottenham senior team in 2012 and scored an amazing 213 goals. He ranks first in goals in the club's history and also played 317 regular-season matches for Tottenham which also ranks first. On May 6 of this year, he surpassed former Manchester United Wayne Rooney for the most goals scored in international competition as an Englishman.
Bayern Munich
When Bayern Munich first offered Tottenham for Kane, they rejected the $ 76 million dollar transfer fee. However, after the fourth try, Tottenham finally said yes and agreed to part ways with Kane. Kane will replace Lewandowski who left for Barcelona. It was first thought that back in 2021, Harry Kane would leave the club. He and Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy had a "gentleman's agreement" that Kane would leave for another club. But it never came to fruition. Kane will be a free agent after this season which is why Tottenham agreed to move on from him as they did not want to lose him for free.
2023 Season!
During this season, Tottenham was falling back in the EPL. Harry Kane stated that he would likely not return to the Club if they continued to struggle in the EPL. They were eliminated from many tournaments as they fell all the way back to 8th in the Premier League.

Harry Kane will now join a club that has won the Bundesliga an astounding 12 straight years. The 30 year old football star will finally get a chance to compete for a title. He will also have a chance to win more silverware with the Bundesliga giant.
